When using RFID Inventory within the CountQwik application, users have the flexibility to work with either UPCs or SKUs depending on their preferences. The RFID session is primarily driven by the EPC value, the selected UPC or SKU mainly serves as a grouping and reference identifier for the EPCs scanned during the session.
It's important to note that the identifier chosen during inventory operations must align with how the RFID tags were originally assigned. For example, if the EPCs were associated with a UPC during tag assignment, the inventory session should also use the UPC. Likewise, if the tags were assigned using a SKU, then the SKU should be used within the session. This ensures the scanned EPCs correctly map back to their associated products.
