Outline for the basic steps when importing and deploying a project in TracerPlus Desktop. These steps are most commonly used for general deployment and can be adapted for most use cases.
Steps to Import and Deploy a Project
Save the Project File
- Save the .tpe project file to an accessible location, such as a shared server or local drive
Open TracerPlus Desktop and Import the Project
- Launch TracerPlus Desktop if it is not already open
- Navigate to File > Import
- Click Next, browse to the saved .tpe file, then click Next again
- Set the Save to Location and click Import
Overwrite Existing Project (if prompted)
- If prompted to overwrite an existing project, click Yes to confirm
Build and Deploy the Project
- In TracerPlus Desktop, click Build/Deploy in the lower left corner
- Click Deploy to generate the QR code for deployment
Scan the Deployment QR Code on Devices
- Using TracerPlus on each mobile device, select the Menu Bar and click Download Project
- Click Scan QR Code and scan the generated QR code shown from the steps above
