How to scan barcodes on a device with no integrated scanner.

In order to scan barcodes in TracerPlus with a mobile device that does not have an integrated barcode scanner (like a mobile phone), you will need to create a button in the form designer with the button action of "Scan". After that, ensure that the button's "Target Control ID" option in the Selected Control Properties is set to the correct control ID of the field you would like the scanned barcode to be entered into.

Then, when you press that button while using the project, the camera on the device will be launched, which you can use to scan the barcode.
