This can be modified using one of the two methods below:
Create a New DSN:
- Navigate to Control Panel-->Admistrative Tools and double click Data Sources (ODBC).
- ***Please note: If you are using a 64-bit version of Windows, you need to open this ODBC Administrator via c:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe.
- Choose the System DSN tab and select ADD.
- Choose the appropriate driver for your database and select Finish.
- Enter relevant information about your DSN and select the Database file.
- When complete select OK to close all windows.
- Open TracerPlus ODBC Link/TracerPlus Connect and navigate to ODBC Configuration.
- Select your newly added DSN and choose your table.
Point the PTS TracerPlus Sample DSN to your database (This only applies to MS Access users):
- Navigate to Control Panel-->Admistrative Tools and double click Data Sources (ODBC).
- ***Please note: If you are using a 64-bit version of Windows, you need to open this ODBC Administrator via c:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe.
- Choose the System DSN tab and double click the PTS TracerPlus Sample.
- Under Databse choose Select.
- Navigate to the location of your Database file and it should appear on the left side.
- Highlight the Database file and select OK to close all windows.
Note - If you already have a DSN setup for your database simply choose your DSN from the "DSN" dropdown under ODBC Configuration.
