On some Android devices, after an OS upgrade, TracerPlus may fail to start and loads to a white screen. This is caused by some incompatibilities in the TracerPlus version and the OS. The solution to this problem will depend on the version of TracerPlus that is running.
TracerPlus 10
If a version of TracerPlus 10 is running you can upgrade to the latest build and the problem should be resolved. If using TracerPlus Desktop Publisher, be sure to upgrade this software as well to the latest version and rebuild your installer.
TracerPlus 9.5
If running TracerPlus 9.5 (or another version of 9) it will be necessary to upgrade to version 9.5.0.1479. You can download the installer here: Android Installer. To install, click this link on your Android device, or save it to a PC and copy it to the device when done. If copying the file to the device, use the File Browser app on the device to tap on it to begin the installation.
Note: If using TracerPlus Desktop Publisher you will need to update the base apk file that is included with Publisher. To do this, save the file above, and copy it to the following location on the PC that is running TracerPlus Desktop Publisher (this is for the default installation path): C:\Program Files (x86)\PTS\TracerPlus Desktop 9\Tools\Android\base and overwrite the existing file. At this point, you will need to rebuild your apk and install it to the device experiencing the white screen issue.
