If you are using TracerPlus Connect with Microsoft Excel using the Windows Service, you may find that the sync fails immediately after initiating the sync. This can be due to some of the common Sync Service issues, or may need a Desktop folder added to systemProfile. If this "Desktop" folder is not present, follow the paths below to add this folder to the PC that TracerPlus Connect is running on:
For 64 Bit PCs:
Add a Desktop folder at the root of C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile
For 32 Bit PCs:
Add a Desktop folder at the root of C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile
After adding the folder named Desktop above, Stop and start the TracerPlus Connect Sync Service and see if this resolves the sync issue. This may not work on some PCs.
