Does TracerPlus Need to be Installed on a PC or Local Server to Integrate with a Virtual Server?

TracerPlus Connect can be installed any way as below

• On a local PC and point TPC to a Database on an AWS server.
• On a virtual PC and point TPC to a Database on an AWS server.
• On the AWS server itself (provided it is Windows) and configure the device to sync with TPC on the AWS server.

As a note: AWS offers many different services. The above is referring to an AWS virtual server (EC2), however that might not be the case and if so it would change the answer a bit. Please contact sales@tracerplus.com for additional information 

As always there are security considerations for each of these setups. The first two require that the Database is open on the AWS server, and the third requires that the TracerPlus handhelds can sync with TPC on the AWS server. You will also have to consider port firewalls.
