If you are using a 64 bit operating syetm and use the default ODBC Administrator tool it will not be recognized by the ODBC Link software. This DSN will need to be created using odbcad32.exe located in the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder.
On older versions of Windows such as Windows 7, it may appear that you are running the 32 bit version of ODBC Admin by running it from the Windows search function, but you should run the odbcad32.exe file specifically to ensure that you are running the correct version.
