I am unable to connect to Wireless Server when using Windows Server 2008

Access will need to be granted using the Windows Firewall tool to allow wireless server to allow inbound connections. Follow these steps below to create a new rule:

1. 1. Go to Start-->Administrative Tools-->Windows Firewall and Advanced Security

1. 1. Click Inbound Rules

1. 1. Click New Rule on the right hand side

1. 1. Select Port and click Next

1. 1. Make sure TCP is selected and specify a local port of 4402 and click Next

1. 1. Make sure Allow the Connection is selected and click Next

1. 1. Leave all checked and click Next

1. 1. Name the rule and select Finish

You should now be able to use Wireless Server on Windows Server 2008.
