If you are unable to scan RFID tags with your Zebra RFID MC3300 RFID mobile device, try checking to see if your region is set to the USA or US. To do this, open the RFID Manager application on the device and check if the region is set to USA or US. If not, click on the region, set it to this, then click apply. Try reading tags after doing this.
Note:
Zebra has discontinued API support for older MC3300 models, this impacts compatibility with newer applications and updates. For Zebra MC3300 Models, using TracerPlus version 10.7 and below allows for RFID features to be used.
The following End of Life (EOL) devices are no longer available for sale but supported by older versions of TracerPlus:
- Zebra MC333R and MC339R
- Zebra TC21/26 or Zebra EC50/55 w/ the Zebra RFD40 Standard RFID Sled using eConnex Adaptor
- Zebra TC20 w/ Zebra RFD2000 Sled
- Zebra RFD8500 Bluetooth RFID Sleds when paired with Android and iOS devices
- Alien ALR-H460
