  1. Install Data Wedge, this can be downloaded from Motorola at http://support.symbol.com
  2. Open Advanced Configuration, Profiles, Profile0, Input, Scanner, Reader Parameters, More, More, Inverse 1D Mode and enable it
  3. Open Advanced Configuration, Profiles, Profile0, Input, Scanner, Reader Parameters, More, Focus Position and change it to Near
