Resetting the Symbol MT2000

Warm Boot - This will restart the terminal, all data and applications will be preserved. To perform a warm boot press and Hold the 2 key and the Scan Trigger simultaneously for 5 seconds.

Cold Boot - Warning - All applications and data will be lost and the device resets back to factory defaults. A cold boot should only be done when a warm boot does not solve the problem. To perform a cold boot press and hold the 2 key and the Scan Trigger simultaneously for 10 seconds.
